Dominion was created by Paul and Liz Laymon in 1994, on their 10th wedding anniversary.  Given their shared faith and purpose, they determined to create an environmental consulting firm that sought to fulfill the Genesis 1 mandate for mankind: to have dominion over all the earth.  From this beginning, they have approached life and this profession, with the intention of caring for the earth, while making use of its bountiful resource.

Dominion is sustained on the promises of God’s provision, detailed throughout the Bible and summarized in Deuteronomy 11, beginning in verse 13,

“…if you listen obediently to my commandments which I am commanding you today, to love the Lord your God and to serve Him with all your heart and all your soul, that He will give the rain for your land in its season, the Autumn rain and Spring rain, that you may gather in your grain and your new wine and your oil. He will give grass in your fields for your cattle, and you will eat and be satisfied…”

or as we think of it, Love God with all of our heart and soul and He provides all that we need, when we need it.  After all these years of testing this promise, we can offer you this. God is the great provider!  We are merely servants.
